Valentine's Day Photo Shoot

Mack had a photo shoot in his Valentine's day outifit. His jump suit says "Heart Breaker" and is he ever! He had crazy hair that day...not the combed hair mommy usually gives him.

Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee!

All tuckered out from his big photo shoot, Mack fell asleep in his bouncy seat in the bathroom while Mom got ready for the day. He is a good poser even in his sleep!

He's A Tummy Sleeper!

They say you're not supposed to let babies sleep on their tummies, however, that is Mack's favorite way to sleep. He has super strength and has been able to lift his head up and move it all around since he was two weeks old, so mom and dad aren't quite so nervous. Doesn't he look cute in his argyle sweater!

Four Generation Photo!

Four generations at the hospital...Grandma-Great, Grandma Smith (ducking out of the picture in the background!), Mommy DeeDee, and Baby Mack.

If Baby Mack has a fan club...Grandma-Great is definitely the founder. She LOVES to hold and tend Mack! What a pretty smile she has too...don't you think! She is 87 years old.

Grandma Smith is definitely in the top of the world's greatest Grandma's! She is so helpful in watching Mack while DeeDee has to work every now and then.

Daddy...the Best Bed in the Hospital

Time to go home from the hospital and what are Daddy and Mack doing...Sleeping! Look at the size of those feet!

True Beauty

DeeDee was showered with flowers and Clint caught a candid shot of her admiring their new baby. Thank heavens DeeDee was a little cleaned up at that point.

Everything of Value Requires Hard Work...but the Reward is so Sweet!

Clint loves the first picture because it depicts the expression of a new mother, exhausted after 2 hours of pushing, and a beauty that only a spouse could see. DeeDee loves the second picture because in her Bradley class instructor always said how good Orange Juice tastes right after labor...and you know what...it actually tastes exactly the same. It is just having something wet in your mouth and not having to push anymore that is comforting! The nurse in the background was expecting her first and was so impressed that DeeDee did it all naturally. She said she was going to give it a try!

And in the Blue Corner weighing in at 107 ounces is the MACK ATTACK! This kid can take a beating!

Little Mack Hyrum joined our family on January 4, 2008. He had a gigantic cone head because of his over-extended stay in the birth canal, but was cute none-the-less. He weighed in at a whopping 6 lbs. 11 oz. and was 20 in. long.
